First Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta Screens Released
Bethesda has unveiled the first screenshots of the upcoming Side effect 3 DLC Mothership Zeta, along with a look at what gamers can expect when the post-nuclear RPG heads forth into place.
Mothership Zeta will take Fallout 3 players into the dark annul of space aboard a massive eponymous alien space vehicle orbiting unpeasant-smelling preceding the Capital Wasteland. Aft trailing a signal from a crashed UFO and falling dupe to an alien abduction, players mustiness push their right smart off the send off and back dispirited to Earth, meeting and joining with different escapees while wielding mighty new weapons and armor, like the Alien Spray, Alien Disintegrator, Drone Cannon, a Gemini-era spacesuit and even Samurai armour.
But escape isn't the only goal: As players explore the vessel, they must learn the aliens' professional plan and ultimately take over the ship before it can "wreak havoc on the unsuspecting Earth below." Players testament be joined in their engagement by other kidnapped denizens of the wasteland, too as an "unannounced array" of characters from Earth's history.
The screens look interesting only I'm not sure how I feel about the direction of this expansion. The UFO barge in sites in Fallout are an amusing and perhaps slimly alarming diversion, merely taking IT from a random Easterly egg-style encounter to full-on DLC might live just a little overly self-indulgent. We'll find stunned in time; Mothership Zeta is scheduled for release on August 3 over Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live, for 800 Microsoft Points.
